They say a man’s best friend is often his dog. Mine are these two clowns who keep me entertained and smiling every day with their adoration and love :)
Like I’m the best super human in the world…….

King & Queen
There’s something about plain backgrounds and quirky faces….
Of course, having a bright pink paper crown helps :)

The One About The Potato
This conversation took place the night before Christmas….
Me: Hey, guess what! I found a potato in the living room.
Him: Yah, where?
Me: On the couch.
*Silence*
Me: It was trying to be a couch potato!!
Insane laughter.

It’s So Quiet
And really beautiful. London is covered in snow and the place has transformed into a magical Christmas town (you know, with Christmas trees illuminating from windows, smoke coming out from chimneys, children building snowman in their gardens).
As much as people bitch about the snow, I can’t see how anyone can hate it. Sure, it disrupts traffic. And, you fall and slip. Yes, it is a pain in the arse - having to wear two thermals, two pairs of socks, a huge jacket, two leggings, gloves and a beanie (only to realise that you need to pee before you go out).
But with the snow so soft like icing (or cloud) and the nice crunch-crunch-crunch when you walk in the park… magical, like I said before.

Dead Ducky
The gruesome discovery we made yesterday:
“Err.. what egg did you buy?”
“Salted duck egg lar! To go with the porridge.”
“Hmm.. come look.”
*Off to inspect the scene*
“Eww, is that a partially formed duck fetus????? And you sliced it in half?”
“You said to cut the egg!”
*No, I didn’t take a photo of the discovery. I wanted to…. but I didn’t want the image of the half chopped, half formed duck to be embedded in my mind. Urgh, I can still remember what it looks like. I swear it was a salted duck egg.*

My Sort-Off Resolutions…
I know, I know - resolutions DON’T work. But just for the fun of it, I’ve made up some (which I can be quite achievable - none of those I will give up carbs for 2011 thing).
So far, these are some I’ve thought up of:
1. I am going to run 12K by June 2011. I can already do 5K, so that means just running an extra kilometres a month to make it! I can do it, right?
2. I am going to take more photos. I already did a lot in 2009 and 2010, but I feel like towards the end, I just kinda stopped. Maybe it was a case of too many photos but nevertheless, I will take more. Of friends, my dogs, family and candid ones.
3. I am going to cook more, cook better, cook for people.
4. I want to learn how to make a video. Or something close.
More to come!
XoXo
Adding to the list before 2011!
5. I will spend less, earn more, save even more.
6. I will climb outdoors at least once this year.
