The Things I Find
I love how you never know what you might bump into when walking down the street. And today is evidence of that - was walking in Brickfields heading for an appointment when I saw this motorcycle decorated in what would be the most enthusiastic fashion of a Liverpool FC fan.
Couldn’t resist, had to take a shot. Despite the old uncles in the coffee shop where it was parked at wondering why...

A Pretty Background
When it comes to taking photos, I just have something about striking coloured backgrounds. Yellow, blue, pink - whatever colour they are, I know it is going to make the photo great. Even if it is photographing something simple.
In this case, the number 163 and a praying altar. So simple yet so unique.
Yay pink background!

Overheard: Etihad EY418 Abu Dhabi-Kuala Lumpur
Heard on my flight back home:
“Onboard, our flight personnel speak Arabic, French, German, English, Mandarin, Slovakian, Estonian and….. Singaporean.”
*snicker snicker*

Of course, having a bright pink paper crown helps :)

The One About The Potato
This conversation took place the night before Christmas….
Me: Hey, guess what! I found a potato in the living room.
Him: Yah, where?
Me: On the couch.
*Silence*
Me: It was trying to be a couch potato!!
Insane laughter.

Christmas Eve Dinner Stars
Lamb, chicken and beef. Yums.
Unfortunately, there was no more stomach space for the lamb so I’m bringing it over to a friend’s place for Christmas lunch! I so have to swim/run/climb extra in 2011!
Merry Christmas, y’all.

It's So Quiet
And really beautiful. London is covered in snow and the place has transformed into a magical Christmas town (you know, with Christmas trees illuminating from windows, smoke coming out from chimneys, children building snowman in their gardens).
As much as people bitch about the snow, I can’t see how anyone can hate it. Sure, it disrupts traffic. And, you fall and slip. Yes, it is a pain in...

Baked Camembert, Anyone?
Forget sausage rolls, I’m making this instead! It’s going to be a Jamie Oliver Christmas feast (yah, I am getting all my recipes from his website).

Ok, I can do this. So far, I have this menu planned

Dead Ducky
The gruesome discovery we made yesterday:
“Err.. what egg did you buy?”
“Salted duck egg lar! To go with the porridge.”
“Hmm.. come look.”
*Off to inspect the scene*
“Eww, is that a partially formed duck fetus????? And you sliced it in half?”
“You said to cut the egg!”
*No, I didn’t take a photo of the discovery. I wanted...

My Sort-Off Resolutions...
I know, I know - resolutions DON’T work. But just for the fun of it, I’ve made up some (which I can be quite achievable - none of those I will give up carbs for 2011 thing).
So far, these are some I’ve thought up of:
1. I am going to run 12K by June 2011. I can already do 5K, so that means just running an extra kilometres a month to make it! I can do it, right?
2. I am going...

Marseille Marseille
Looking through my photos of Marseille and found this rather nice shot.
Gosh, speaking of photos, I have so many to go through! Think I can get everything done, edited, deleted, tagged, categorised by end of the year? That and cooking a feast for Christmas Eve?
I do too much.
Oh and trying to set up Tumblr as my proper homepage!
GAH!
Shot taken while I was walking alone Corniche Kennedy....
1 Month and 7 Days to Go
That’s how much longer I will be in London. Wow, I can’t believe that 1.5 years have passed by so quickly. Around this time last year, I was preparing to go to Egypt and now I am preparing to go home (which reminds me I have to start packing and decluttering!)
One word to describe my experience? Swell. It’s been a major milestone in my life. Sure, I had to take some time off...

On the bright side, there are plenty of Christmas markets with yummy bratwursts. Like.

Gleek-ed!
Well, not yet - but I will be soon! Just scored tickets for the Glee concert next year in June (yes, I am already planning 2011).
Already lined up - Cirque du Soleil, Bon Jovi, two four! weddings, Glee. It’s like New Year came early for me! :)

I Will Write More. I Really Will.
Let’s just say I’ve been lazy. More than I really want to. And I know I need to get back into things. There are only 5 weeks left, after all.
So here’s a start - a first post.
And of course, a photo too.
(I will take more photos. I really will).
Swan lost in Surrey Quays. Taken with iPhone Pinhole! Err sometime in October, I think…
PS: I could get used to...
